This all-in-one, non-contact measurement and imaging tool displays temperature anomalies on screen, allowing you to inspect efficiently and pinpoint the source of problems faster than with a single-spot IR thermometer. The FLIR TG165-X MSX Thermal Camera can be used to capture thermal, visual and MSX images and take non-contact temperature measurements. It is suitable for troubleshooting issues in buildings and electrical, mechanical and HVAC/R systems.

Thermal Imaging

The FLIR TG165-X MSX Thermal Camera’s thermal imaging capabilities allow the user to identify hot and cold spots quickly and easily. It has an IR resolution of 80 x 60px, a <70mk thermal sensitivity, a 51° x 66° field of view and a 24:1 distance-to-spot ratio. It is also equipped with a fixed focus and a selection of thermal colour palettes: the user can choose from Iron, Rainbow, White Hot, Black Hot, Arctic and Lava.

The FLIR TG165-X MSX Thermal Camera measures and displays temperatures between -25°C and 300°C/ -13°F and 572°F to an accuracy of ±1.5°C/ 3°F.

Imaging Modes

In addition to providing thermal images, the FLIR TG165-X MSX Thermal Camera can capture visual images with temperature readings. To this end, it features an integrated 2MP digital camera with a fixed focus and a 71° x 51° field of view.

The FLIR TG165-X MSX Thermal Camera also includes an MSX (Multi-Spectral Dynamic) mode for displaying combined thermal and visual images. The MSX mode enhances thermal images using digital detail allowing the user to see components, wires and sources of faults more clearly.

Display and Storage

The user can save up to 50 000 images to the FLIR TG165-X MSX Thermal Camera’s 4GB memory, allowing him/her to document issues and corrections using before and after images.

Live and saved images can be viewed via the FLIR TG165-X MSX Thermal Camera’s 2.4” display.

Ergonomic

The FLIR TG165-X MSX Thermal Camera is equipped with a bullseye laser pointer that allows the user to identify the specific area of inspection/ measurement easily and clearly. It also features a bright LED work light to enable the inspection of dark or hard-to-reach places.

Additionally, the FLIR TG165-X MSX Thermal Camera features an IP54-rated casing and has been drop tested from 2m to ensure that it is suitable for use in rugged environments.

Operating the FLIR TG165-X MSX Thermal Camera is easy using its simple buttons and trigger-pull for capturing images. It is supplied with a rechargeable Li-ion battery capable of providing up to five hours of operation.
