The FLIR C5 Compact Thermal Camera with Cloud Connectivity & Wi-Fi is a three-in-one inspection tool consisting of an infrared imager, visible-light camera and an LED torch. It is also equipped with FLIR Ignite™ Cloud connectivity and wi-fi enabling users to document visible-light and thermal images which can then be shared and/or accessed using any smart device.

Thermal Imaging

The FLIR C5 Compact Thermal Camera is designed to enable easy, accurate and quick identification of hidden problems and potential issues. To this end, it is equipped with a 160 x 120px thermal imager and a 5MP visual camera, a range of imaging modes and thermal colour palettes.

The FLIR C5 Compact Thermal Camera features Thermal, Visual, MSX® and Picture-in-Picture imaging modes. The MSX® imaging mode embosses digital details, captured using the 5MP visual camera, onto the infrared image. This increases the clarity and sharpness of the image allowing the user to identify the source of faults easily and with greater certainty.

In addition to the MSX® imaging function, the FLIR C5 Compact Thermal Camera includes a 1-Touch Level/ Span function: the user needs only touch the 3.5” touchscreen once and this function will automatically adjust the level and span. The 1-Touch Level/ Span function can be used to increase image contrast enabling the user to find hidden faults with greater ease.

The FLIR C5 Compact Thermal Camera is also equipped with a Manual Level/ Span function and an Automatic Level/ Span function, allowing the user to tailor the IR imager to his/her preferences and/or the application.

Further to this, the FLIR C5 Compact Thermal Camera includes six user-selectable thermal palettes: Iron, Grey, Rainbow, Arctic, Lava and Rainbow HC.

Document and Share Data

Visible-light, MSX® and thermal images can be saved with annotations identifying and/or explaining the user’s findings. These images can be uploaded to the FLIR Ignite™ Cloud using the FLIR C5 Compact Thermal Camera’s FLIR Ignite™ Cloud connectivity and wi-fi. The FLIR Ignite™ Cloud can be used to store, back-up and organise visible-light, MSX® and thermal images.

The user can access images saved to the FLIR Ignite™ Cloud using any smart device. Moreover, images can be shared with colleagues and clients using a password-protected link sent via email. This improves job efficiency as potential issues can be communicated quickly, resulting in faster collaborative decisions.

Furthermore, the FLIR C5 Compact Thermal Camera is compatible with reporting software, such as FLIR’s Thermal Studio Software. This allows users to create professional reports including images captured by the FLIR C5 Compact Thermal Camera.

Portable, Practical and Durable

Pocket-sized, the FLIR C5 Compact Thermal Camera can be carried on the user’s person or in a crowded tool bag. This compact camera has been optimised for use in challenging, rugged environments and to this end features a durable, IP54 design capable of resisting dust and water ingress. The FLIR C5 Compact Thermal Camera can also withstand a 2m/ 6.6ft fall.

Moreover, the FLIR C5 Compact Thermal Camera includes an integrated LED torch, which allows the user to conduct inspections in dark and/or difficult-to-access areas. This ergonomic and easy-to-use thermal imaging camera also includes a built-in 3.5-inch touchscreen display.
